I somehow missed that yesterday was National PawPaw Day! We observed it by picking up ripe fruit and freezing them in anticipation of a 2026 pawpaw beer! How do you celebrate? Pawpaws (Asimina triloba) are North America's largest native wild fruit. Ohio is the northern edge of their range, but their creamy banana/mango/peach flesh will make you dream of the tropics.
